In 2014, SZA launched her single Child’s Play in collaboration with Chance the rapper. And with the launch of her EP named Z, she landed at number 39 on Billboard, and thus, her glorious era started.

SZA landed in the third position on the Billboard 200 for the first time in 2017 with her song Ctrl. She even created history with the same release, as the song became the second-longest-charting R&B album by a woman, just after Rihanna’s Anti-Slay.

Ctrl by SZA also made its way onto Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list. In 2017, two more albums by SZA, Love Galore and The Weekend, did really well and got into the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100.

Good Days, the 2020 release of SZA, literally shook the internet and became a massive hit.

In 2021, SZA released I Hate You, which again entered the  top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 along with her song Good Days. This was a continuation for SZA to top the charts, such a golden period.

The year 2022 was the fifth anniversary of SZA’s song Ctrl, and in honor of the song, she released its deluxe version. She released another album named SOS in the same year, which broke all records as it stayed at the number one position straight for seven weeks on the Billboard 200 albums list. The SOS record made her the first woman ever to do that in a decade.

SZA’s Collaborations with the Biggest Stars

SZA has worked with some of the brightest stars of the industry, including Doja Cat, Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, Cardi B, Beyonce, Khalid, Justin Timberlake, Tame Impala, and Summer Walker. The list is big, and so are the stars.

SZA is talented enough, for which she has made her space in people’s hearts and, of course, in the industry. She also got a chance to feature her songs in certain movies, such as All the Stars for the movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Just For Me for the movie Space Jam: A New Legacy, and The Anonymous Ones for the movie Dear Evan Hanson.
